Golf Shop

 

Inside Red Deer Golf & Country Club, we offer a full-service Golf Shop with a spectrum of products, corporate merchandise programs and special member pricing. It is the Club’s mission to ensure that the best possible pricing is always available to our membership, matching all of our competitors. 


In addition to our merchandise, we offer a large selection of hard goods. Our Professional team will custom fit you at anytime using Trackman technology to enhance the fitting experience. Five fit carts are available for members to choose from including Taylor Made, Ping, Titleist, PXG and Callaway.
Throughout the golf season, a wide variety of lessons and programming for all members of the family is available to suit your lifestyles.
 

Meet the 2026 Golf Shop Team

Trevor Hay – Head Golf Professional
Trevor is entering his third season at the Club, continuing to play a key role in the overall success of golf operations. His responsibilities include inventory management, tournament facilitation, elevating front counter service standards, and delivering instructional programming. He also oversees both Golf Shop and Back Shop operations, including staffing, performance, and service delivery.

Outside of work, Trevor enjoys spending time on the walking trails around Sylvan Lake or relaxing at home watching movies.

Calder Sutton – Lead Associate Professional
Now in his fourth year as a Golf Professional, Calder will continue to play a key leadership role in tournament operations. He will also oversee inventory administration and provide custom club fitting services to members as availability permits.

Prior to his career in golf, Calder worked as a chef in a variety of restaurants across Calgary, Edmonton, and Banff. His passion for all things golf has led him to enjoy collecting putters and tour bags.

Daniel Neith – Back Shop Manager
A senior member of the Golf Operations team with eight seasons of experience, Daniel returns as Back Shop Manager. In this role, he will lead a largely returning team, with a continued focus on elevating standards in cart presentation and delivering thorough, high-quality club cleaning services for the membership.

Outside of work, Daniel is an avid gamer, and his passion has led to an interest in the Japanese culture culminating into an upcoming three-week trip to Japan this May.

Logan Veno – Assistant Professional
Logan will graduate from the College of the Desert, in Palm Desert, California in June and is an Assistant Professional within the PGA of Canada. He will support the administration of the Junior Program and serve in a supervisory role across both the Golf Shop and Back Shop.

Logan currently plays on the Golf team at the College of the Desert and likes to play pick up hockey in the winters.

Chase Anderson – Professional Golf Management Student
Chase is currently enrolled in the Professional Golf Management (PGM) program at Humber College in Toronto, Ontario. An accomplished player, he aspires to turn professional next year and plans to compete in amateur events across the province this summer. Chase will assist with the Junior Program alongside Logan, help oversee Junior Nights throughout the season, and support daily Golf Shop operations through regular counter duties.

Chase is an avid Pickleball player and does some personal training when time permits.

Ally George – Retail & Service Associate
After three seasons in the Back Shop, Ally transitions into the Golf Shop with a focus on retail sales, merchandising, and delivering a high level of member service at the counter. 

Ally is currently saving to travel to Australia this Fall, and in her free time, enjoys coaching Volleyball. 

Kohen Rea – Golf Shop Associate
Kohen joins the Golf Shop team after four years in the Back Shop. His primary responsibilities will include counter service, managing the tee, cart operations, and supporting pace of play on the course.

Kohen is attending RDP and plays for the Junior B Red Deer Vipers Hockey Team during the winters and competes in golf tournaments in the summer.

Addison Roe – Golf Shop Associate
Following two summers with the Turf Team, Addison moves into the Golf Shop this season. She will be responsible for front counter service and assisting the Professional Staff with daily operations. 

She has completed her first year of University at Grant MacEwan in Edmonton where she is studying psychology.  She enjoys spending her free time visiting with friends and family.
