One of our most important, and highly contested Junior initiatives is the ATB Investor Services Race to the Cup.
One deserving Junior member wins a $1,000.00 scholarship based on a season long points race. Points are accumlated for participation (Jr. Fun Nights, tournaments, clinics), performance (Club Tournament results, handicap improvement), and volunteer hours at the Club and in the community.
This year’s winner is 12 year old Mark Janes. Mark demonstrated enthusiasm and leadership throughout the year and set a good standard for all RDGCC members!
Thanks to David Misener and ATB Investor Services for sponsoring this important program!!
Congratulations to the Red Deer Golf and Country Club members who won the RDGCC/Glendale matches held at the Club this weekend. Tom Skinner, Dan Soley, Garrett Scott, Peter Duncan, J.D. Remember that the first tee time will be at 9 am until further notice. Daylight and frost make later starts a way of life in late September for Alberta golf courses.
Our Member Appreciation Day is Saturday September 26…and the forecast looks great! We hope you all plan on playing or visiting the Club that day.
We wrap up the festivities with a buffet dinner and dance, with entertainment by Wooden Nickle. You can reserve tee times as usual, and make a dinner reservation by calling the Administration Office at 403-347-5441.
Thanks to over 150 Red Deer Golf and Country Club members that filled out and returned their survey to the Office. We appreciate your interest and passion in this great facility. Congratulations to our draw winner, Al Fiske who gets 2 power carts, 2 guest passes and dinner for 4.
The information gathered from the surveys will be compiled by the Board and a summary emailed to the membership once it is complete.
