It looks like the good, fall weather is going to continue for the foreseeable future. Please come out and enjoy the course as it is in excellent condition. Fall golf is my favourite time to golf; I hope it is yours as well!
We have a Ladies competition as well as a Men’s Interclub event taking place this weekend. We wish good golf to all those participating in these events and to those that are knocking the ball about with family and friends.
We have added a couple of items to the website that you need to be aware of, and ask that you check these two areas out at your earliest convenience.
As you may remember, about six weeks ago, a fly-over video of each hole of the course was done by an outside company. These videos are now on the website. Please CLICK HERE to go to the galleries section on the homepage to view the course in a whole new way.
We have also received the final documents from the company that surveyed the Club members earlier this summer. These documents are all found in the “Members Only” section of the website. Once you log in to this area, please look at the top of the page for the tab called “Strategic Plan 2020”. There are six different files to go through. These files contain a lot of information that you will find quite interesting. I am happy to discuss these results with you in person or by email at email@example.com.
Aeration and Sanding Greens
The Turf Care team will be doing needle tine aeration and light topdressing of the greens this coming Monday, September 21. There should be minimal interruption to play.
Fall Start Times
Due to the possibility of frost delays, the daily start time will be gradually moving back over the next three weeks as per the schedule below:
|Monday, September 21||9:30 a.m.|
|Monday, September 28||10 a.m.|
|Monday, October 5 to end of season||11 a.m.|
This season-ending favourite tournament is filling up quickly, so please review the attached notice and get your team in soon to avoid disappointment.
