Course Opening Update

Golfing Experience Update

  • Three Wheel & Riksha Push Carts will be sanitized before your arrival.
  • Power Carts will have the keys in them; there will be no need to come to the Golf Shop to receive a key.
    • The Golf Shop starter will record your power cart charge, so you don’t have to enter the golf shop to sign a chit.
  • There is a maximum of one person per cart unless a twosome arrives from the same home. Those two can ride on the same cart.
  • All tees, pencils and ball markers are available in the golf shop with staff handing you any item(s) you need.
  • There will be no sand and seed bottles available; please replace your divots.
  • Please return all Power Carts and Push Carts to the Legacy Lane area, where you will see signage indicating where the respective units should be placed.
  • All Power Carts will have a fresh scorecard and pencil placed on the steering wheel.
    • The front of your scorecard will have a green checkmark on it that verifies that your cart is sanitized for your use.
  • Arrive no more than 15 mins before your tee time (updated arrival time).
    • You will have a few minutes to warm up before arriving at the 1st tee.
  • The driving range is reserved for those on the tee sheet.
  • Hole 5 is closed. You will play 8a in its place. Holes 8, 10, and 15 will have temporary greens.
  • The golf shop is open by appointment only.
    • Only the east/hallway entrance is open to the golf shop.
  • Please take your golf club’s home after your round as there will be no club cleaning or storage services available.
  • Please do not enter TBA on the tee sheet when booking tee times.
    • We currently have much more demand than tee time availability, so please allow your fellow members access to any open spaces on your tee time.
  • The on-course washrooms will be open as well as the boy’s and girl’s locker rooms.
    • The men’s and lady’s locker rooms remain closed until further notice.

Food & Beverage Update

We are delighted to inform you all the Snack Shack will be open for grab and go service when the course opens on Wednesday morning.

All of your usual favourites will be available, including breakfast sandwiches, loaf slices, hot dogs and, of course, beer!  Things will look a little different, however.  To meet safety standards, we ask that you maintain 2 metres of physical distance from others in the Snack Shack.  No sitting allowed.  All condiments will be behind the counter and applied by a staff member—no water bottle refills, bottled water only.

Hours will run from 9 am – 8 pm.

The Snack Shack is sanitized regularly.

Please continue to place your orders dinner/take-home food orders by calling or texting 587-679-6552 between 9 – 4 pm with a pickup time. Please include your name and account number with your order.

Mother’s Day menu orders need to be placed by Thursday, May 7 at 3 pm, for us to ensure time for product delivery and our team to prepare your orders.  Mother’s Day orders will be available for pickup beginning on Saturday, May 9 from 2 pm – 7 pm and Sunday, May 10 from 9 am – 7 pm.

Orders will be placed on the table at the front door at your chosen time.

Mother’s Day Picnic Packs

Let us help take some of the work out of your special day with Mom.  Included with each picnic pack entrée choice:

  • Baked potato with bacon, green onions and sour cream
  • Corn on the cob with chipotle butter
  • Tossed salad with ranch or Italian dressing
  • Honey roasted carrots
  • Fresh dinner bun

Picnic Pack Entrée Choices:

  • Filet Mignon – $30/per person
    • 6oz AAA Alberta beef tenderloin, hand-cut, vacuum sealed, and ready for your grill.


  • Atlantic Salmon – $28/per person
    • Cedar Plank Atlantic salmon, with citrus and fresh herbs, and ready for your grill.
  • Half Chicken – $23/per person
    • 24hr Brined ½ chicken, seasoned, smoked, and ready for your grill.

Individual Piece Orders:

  • Filet Mignon – $17/per piece
    • 6oz AAA Alberta beef tenderloin, hand-cut, vacuum sealed, and ready for your grill.
  • Atlantic Salmon – $15/per piece
    • Cedar Plank Atlantic salmon, with citrus and fresh herbs, and ready for your grill.
  • Half Chicken – $10/per piece
    • 24hr Brined ½ chicken, seasoned, smoked, and ready for your grill.

    We will include instructions and suggestions for cooking or warming your selected meal.  We thank you all for your continued and incredible support of the Red Deer Golf and Country Club.  We look forward to seeing you all again and wish everyone a fantastic and Happy Mother’s Day.

    Administration Update

  • Please remove your shoes, clothing, etc. from the locker rooms.
    • Anyone that hasn’t renewed their memberships by the end of this week, May 10, will have their locks removed and any remaining property stored on May 11.
  • Please remove your clubs from club storage.
  • Accounts
    • Talk to our Administration Staff about setting up a pre-authorized debit so that your account is kept current.
    • Please find below the Club Policy regarding your account.

Account Statements shall be mailed or emailed monthly to all Members with a detailed balance. The statement shall note that amounts are due upon receipt. A late charge of 2% per month of the outstanding balance will be applied on all accounts exceeding thirty (30) days overdue.

For Current Accounts and Accounts 30 days Overdue

The statement notes that current and past due amounts are due upon receipt.

For Accounts 60 days overdue

For any account that remains due and payable after 60 days from the issuance of the account by the Club to the Member, the Manager of the Club shall send a letter of demand demanding payment in full with accrued interest within fifteen days from the date of the letter. In the event payment has not been received in full including accrued interest within the fifteen days set forth in the letter all of the Member’s playing and charging privileges at the Club shall be immediately terminated and revoked.
