RDGCC F & B Memo

Good Afternoon Members,

Hard to believe June is almost over!  With July fast approaching we are excited to see everyone on the 1st from 11 – 2 pm for our complimentary BBQ.  The Club will supply hot dogs, burgers, chips and pop for anyone who’d like to join us to celebrate Canada Day!

Our culinary team has also prepared a variety of Canadian themed dinner features.  Each day will host a different province or combination of provinces.  Watch for detailed listings of these featured items posted later this weekend.  Some of the provincial features will include:

Monday June 29th Yukon/NWT/Nunavut – Ground elk burger with maple bacon jam as well as Clam Chowder soup.

Tuesday June 30th British Columbia – Pan-seared Halibut with risotto

Wednesday July 1st Alberta – Ground bison burger with locally sourced cheese and Beef tenderloin with veal demi

Thursday July 2nd Saskatchewan/Manitoba – Wild boar bacon & roast “Canadiano” (Cubano) sandwich and Pilsner braised short-rib

Friday July 3rd Ontario/Quebec – Montreal smoked meat sandwich and poutine Charcuterie Board with assorted artisan cheeses, meats, preserves

Saturday July 4th Nfld/Labr/New Brunswick – Pan-fried cod with lemon caper and dill sauce and Lobster roll

Sunday July 5th Nova Scotia/PEI – Seafood linguini with scallops, mussels, and prawns, Nova Scotia fried chicken with lobster mac n’ cheese

These are a sampling of the features we will be showcasing.  A complete list including lunch and dinner features, will be posted this weekend as our Chef confirms product availability and quality.

We continue to have a large demand for our cook-at-home items.  This week the kitchen has the following available from Monday June 29- Sunday July 5.  Please call 587-679-6552 to order the following or to make a dinner reservation:

NY steaks $13/each

Lasagna $20

Shepherd’s Pie $18

Mark your calendar Saturday July 11 will be our 9 Wine and Dine. Bring a guest for 9 holes and come up for Pasta Night! The guest cost is $60 and includes a $30 credit for your pasta, starter & a glass of house wine, beer or highball.

Last note:  Please keep an eye on your snack shack treats. We have had a lot of snacks flying off with the sneaky crows!

Have a great weekend!

Cheers,
