Our newest shareholder is Stephen Barr.  Stephen was a Non-Shareholder member in 2018 and decided that the RDGCC is where he wants to play and enjoy retirement.  Steve is a good player and regularly competes in our Club tournaments, and Provincial events.  He and Corrine reside in Sylvan Lake.  Welcome to the Red Deer Golf and Country Club family!

The last stretch of warm weather and freezing rain took it’s toll on our turf team.  Head Superintendent Heath Koch noticed a layer of ice on virtually all of our greens and for a full week they were using our aerators to shatter ice, sand to burn through it, and shovels to clear.  They will clear the snow off a couple greens this week and check conditions.  Big thanks to Heath, Chris, Rod, Darwin, Sonja and Diego for identifying the problem and reacting quickly.

Please join us in the golf shop this Saturday December 1 from 2 – 6 pm for some great bargains and holiday cheer.  The boys have started another merchandise raffle and have new stock arriving to fill out your Christmas wish lists.

Our Brunch with Santa Sunday December 16 is a near sell-out. The Brunch is reservation only.  Cost is $50 for adults, kids 14-17 – $25, kids 11-13 – $13.00 and kids 10 and under free.  We need names, ages, and gender of all children 8 and under as they will receive gifts.  Santa and Mrs. Claus will be in the house and handle gift giving duties.

Click on the link below to view this Sunday’s menu.  In addition to our three weekly features there will be selections available for kids.  We require a minimum of 20 reservations to proceed with Sunday service each week.
