The Government of Alberta just announced that Stage 1 of the relaunch strategy will happen on Thursday, May 14. This announcement will directly impact the Golf Shop and the Food & Beverage services. Please read the remainder of this email to understand better how these changes will affect your experience at the Club.
You will now be able to enter the Golf Shop to shop to connect with the professional staff. We ask that you keep your social distance from others using this area. You will notice some tape on the floor near the service counter, which will help you with keeping the proper distance from others. The online golf shop remains open at www.rdgccproshop.com should you feel more comfortable using this option.
Tee Time Booking
We have had an ongoing issue with our online tee sheet provider, Jonas Software, for the past two days. We expect this issue to be resolved by tomorrow morning. If you have problems booking in the morning, please call the Golf Shop to book your tee time.
Tee times move to 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 16 and then will move to 7 a.m. on Tuesday, May 19. Finally, on May 22, we will proceed to 9-minute intervals. Please remember that you can still arrive only 15-minutes in advance of your tee time to ensure we comply with the physical distancing rules.
The practice range will remain at half capacity, but there will be one stall available throughout the day that you will book, in ½ hour increments, by calling the golf shop. Due to the high demand for this area, each member will be limited to one, ½ block per day.
We will be moving onto the regular greens on holes eight and ten on Saturday. Hole 15 to come online in the next 7-10 days. The fifth hole will be a longer-term project.
We are working towards getting sand bottles back into your hands, but until that happens, please replace your divots. I have noticed many good-sized divots are not being replaced. Please help your fellow members in having the best playing surface possible.
Food and Beverage
Thank you to all the families who placed Mother’s Day orders. Our team was very excited to sell out of picnic packs! We received a lot of great comments and hope you enjoyed your day with mom. To show our appreciation for your incredible support, we have drawn one lucky order from all the Mother’s Day orders, to receive a gift from us. Collin Jefferies, I expect this gift will be shared with Cindy, you’re incredibly lucky to have such a great mom!
We look forward to having everyone back in the dining room after your round of golf or practice session. As you will expect, some things will change to meet new regulations.
- We ask you to enter the dining room on the west side (by boardroom) and exit from the east.
- Do not move tables or chairs.
- With limited seating, we ask you to keep your stay to an hour to allow other guests to enjoy this area.

- Be patient! With sanitizing requirements, things may take a little longer than usual.
Ordering Meals for Pickup When Golfing
We are implementing the opportunity to order a small variety of menu items for pick up after the ninth hole. We ask that you order before the eighth tee to ensure we can have it ready for you to pick up in the Snack Shack. Menu items will include hamburgers, Chicken Club Sandwich, Chicken Fingers, and a Turkey Sandwich. To start, we won’t be offering sides with these meals, but ask that you let us know how we can improve this service for you. Please call (587) 679-6552 to place your order.
