Canada Day – Wednesday July 01 Par Three Family Challenge at 4 pm.
Entertainment on the cart landing by Wooden Nickle, with BBQ’s, food and drink. Dinner specials in the Clubhouse. Bring the whole family and watch the Canada Day fireworks!!!
Friday evenings will continue our popular Pasta Nights. Usually pasta will be prepared and served from the kitchen…but we will give lots of notice on days when we’ll be cooking in the front of the house.
Sunday dining will run all year and as usual feature the RDGCC Prime Rib. We will have entertainment most Sundays. This Sunday’s (Easter Sunday) dinner specials are listed below.
Another change we think you will like is the utilization of stationary beverage carts most days. We will have a cart between the 4th and 16th tees from 11-8 or 9 most days and on #11 and 13 tee from 1-7 pm. There are a lot of advantages to such a service. Less wear and tear on the golf course, no surprises on when and where drinks are available, and a set schedule when our season is in full swing. Golfers will have an opportunity to purchase food and drink on #1, 4, 10, 11, 13, and 16. Not bad at all!!!
Each year we book outside events in our Clubhouse throughout the month of April. We appreciate the business of everyone that chooses to host a function here. April is tricky because the golf course may or may not be open. This year is no different, and given that we will be golfing earlier than usual I would like to thank you in advance for understanding any days that the Clubhouse may be unavailable following golf. We will do our best to provide service in the men’s lounge when disruptions take place.
Here are this Sunday’s dinner specials (Easter Sunday):
Prime Rib, Grilled Chicken Veronique (Grilled chicken supreme napped with a sweet grape glaze accompanied with seasonal vegetables and your choice of mixed peppered rice or scalloped potatoes), or Jagermeister Chasseur Pork Chop (A grilled English style, double thick, pork chop with our house Jagermeister sauce with bacon and mushrooms served with scalloped potatoes and seasonal vegetables).
