Business has been brisk at the beautiful Red Deer Golf and Country Club. The good weather and promising forecast has us anticipating an early start. I’m pleased to report that to this point the golf course appears to have wintered well. We have the usual mice/vol damage, but other than that Superintendent Heath Koch is a happy man.
Thanks to Andrew McWilliam, Randy Chidley and Parker Bettenson for choosing to become shareholders in the RDGCC, and to Dennis Small who is a new delegate on a corporate share. Welcome!!
Our New Member Orientation and Opening Reception will be held on Friday April 24 from 5 – 8 pm. It is the best time to re-connect with your golfing buds, and to learn what is in store for the new golf year.
Entries are now being taken for the Senior Men’s League. Sign up sheet is in the golf shop. Interested participants can call the golf shop @ 403-340-4461. Heads up to those involved…defending Champion Cec Swanson (partnered with Bill Hogg) is back. Cec purchased his membership last week and complained that he had been trying to win the Seniors for 25 years!! We should all be so lucky.
