Well maintenence day was a fantastic success. Thanks to all members for understanding how important these days are to keep the golf course in top notch condition.
Starting at 10:00 we went out and did the following:
Verticut Tees and Fairways followed by a cleanup with the blower
We did the following to the greens:
We also aerated weak areas on 1 4 5 7 greens
This time also gave us time to catch up on a bunch of rough mowing and divoting etc.
So as you can see there are many processes that take place to make the greens smooth true and quick.
The course really is shaping up nicely.
We are now playing on the new forward tees on 4 and 8. Try them out! its like a different golf hole.
Some of you may have noticed that we have gone to dry sand in the sand and seed bottles. Its far easier to get the sand out of the bottles.
Good Luck to anyone playing in the Central Alberta Amateur this weekend.
