Canada Day parking passes are required to access the RDGCC on Monday July 1. Passes are available at the Administration Office and in the golf shop. City of Red Deer staff will be turning cars back without passes without exception.
Discounted green fee coupons are available for pick-up at the Administration Office. Each adult member gets 3 passes.
On Canada Day we will have a morning cross-over (no restrictions) from 8 – 9:15 am, followed by our traditional Par 3 tournament shotgun at 3 pm. For the Par 3 guest fees are $25.00 and you can play in more than a four-some. The theme is “family”…and fun. Please join us if you are able.
We are still taking entries for the Rave Design Showroom Ladies Member Guest on Monday July 8. Enter at the golf shop.
We are having a full-on Pasta Night this evening in the clubhouse. Reservations are recommended.
Tomorrow evening, Saturday June 29 is Grip It, Rip It and Sip It. Guest fees will be $50 plus GST after 2 pm and we will have entertainment by Greg Carroll in the clubhouse from 7 – 10 pm. It will be a pub-like atmosphere with food and drink specials. Reservations recommended.
Red Deer Golf and Country Club members are provided sun screen in both locker rooms. In addition, golfers should protect themselves with DEET. Lyme disease in on the increase in Canada and the U.S. and should not be taken lightly with it’s long term effects.
