We are pleased to inform that we will open the front nine, driving range and putting green tomorrow, with regular tee times in effect. Those wishing to play eighteen can attempt to book 2 appropriate tee times. In the event our crew is doing work where their safety is a concern the hole markers may be moved forward and the hole be played from a shorter length.
Our grounds crew have done stellar work getting the golf course ready for play. It was a huge undertaking. Our hope is to have 18 holes ready for Friday morning…but again depending on the work a par 5 may become a par 3 or par 4.
We were very fortunate. While we may have lost 30 – 40 mature trees for the most part those recently planted beside them were spared. Our course will still look and play like the Red Deer Golf and Country Club. No one was hurt as a result of the storm, our greens not damaged and all buildings untouched.
We look forward to seeing you back at the beautiful Red Deer Golf and Country Club and thank you for your patience and cooperation!
