This Friday June 17 we will have a Pasta Night with pasta prepared and served at the front of the house.  Reservations are recommended.

Sunday June 19 is Father’s Day.  Why not bring the family for lunch or dinner to the beautiful Red Deer Golf and Country Club.  We will have feature meals created with dad in mind.

Congratulations to Chair June Larson and her organizing committee of the Women’s Classic.  The tournament will go Monday June 20 with a full field of 136.

Tuesday June 21 is our first Girl’s Night Out.  RDGCC members and wives and girlfriends of adult members can book times commencing at 6 pm and bring friends at a special green fee rate of $30.00.  We start the evening with a complimentary glass of wine on the first tee!

Saturday June 25 is our second 9 Wine & Dine.  Tee times can be made one week in advance for 9 Wine & Dines.  Guests play for a fee of $45.00 which includes a $20.00 food and beverage credit.  As usual we will combine it with a Pasta Night.

On Monday June 27 our guest green fees will be at $60.00 + GST all day.  Members are encouraged to bring some friends and show off our wonderful facility.

Friday July 01 is Canada Day and the Red Deer Golf and Country Club is the place to be.  We will have a morning shotgun at 8:30 am open to all categories of membership.  At 2 pm we will have another shotgun with all 18 holes set as par 3’s and golfers encouraged to play a scramble format.  Guest green fees will be $25.00.

Following play we will have a pig roast, burgers, hotdogs, and icecream prepared and served outside at the cart landing.  There will be entertainment outside featuring the Brad Abel Trio from 6 – 9 pm.  There will be dinner features and regular service in the Clubhouse as well.  Reservations are recommended.

Please note that the driving range will be closed Tuesday mornings from 10 – 11 am so we can do regular maintenance on the grass tee.

Congratulations to RDGCC Assistant Superintendent Chris Miller.  Chris graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science with a Golf Course Management Major from Olds College.  Chris does a great job for us.  He is 23 years old, is in his 7th year of employment at the RDGCC, and completed the 4 year program at Olds while working here.  He has a bright future in the golf business!
