Our Canada Day weekend went well. Thanks for inviting your friends and enjoying the Red Deer Golf and Country Club!
This Friday July 6 and Saturday July 7 we host the Central Alberta Oilmen’s. Please note that the Club is closed all day Friday, and will re-open Saturday at 3:30 pm.
On Sunday July 8 we host a wedding on 8a. The clubhouse will be closed from 8:30 am – 3 pm that day, and the driving range from 9:45 – 11:15 am as we shuttle guests to and from.
On Friday July 13 Executive Chef Ryan Poole will be featuring Steak and Lobster at $36.00. Starters and dessert extra. We had a steak and lobster feature that went very well, and although the market price has gone up we wanted to give it another try. Please call 403-347-5441 to make your reservation.
Saturday July 14 is our next 9, Wine and Dine. Guests can play at a $45.00 fee which includes a $20.00 food and beverage credit following play. We will have a full Pasta Night with pasta prepared and served from the front of the house that evening.
On Monday July 9 Heath will lightly top-dress and needle-tyne our greens. The greens might be slightly off that morning but will recover quickly. We will be using a Planet-Aire aeration tomorrow morning which coupled with the needle-tyne is needed to break down the thatch. There should be very little disruption to play.
With the Red Deer Golf and Country Club in great condition I am noticing more reciprocal rounds here than years previous. RDGCC members are reminded that we are able to book times and play at a preferred rate at a number of private Alberta Clubs. If you are looking to play elsewhere please contact Kirk, Dean, or myself and we will do our best to arrange it.
Entries are being taken for the Red Deer Golf and Country Club Ladies Invitational, the Mason Martin Homes Ladies Member/Guest and the RBC Wealth Management Dominion Securities Central Alberta Amateur.
