AUGUST 9, 2019

Congratulations to chair Brenda Pattison and her committee on what will be another successful Red Deer Ladies Invitational.  The tournament is a 1pm shotgun tomorrow.  There will be no lunch service available upstairs as we host the ladies.

On Monday August 12th we host the RBC Scramble Regional Finals.  It is a 9am shotgun start.

On Friday August 16th we welcome the Alberta Judges.  That group use a regular tee time morning start with dinner following.

Sunday August 18th the upstairs of the clubhouse will close at 4pm for the The Red Deer Minor Hockey Association Gala.  On Monday August 17th The Red Deer Minor Hockey Association Tournament has a 9am shotgun start.

Our calendar lists us as hosting The Red Deer/Glendale Ryder Cup matches on September 21 and 22.  Last year unfortunately was lost due to snow, and as a result The Ryder Cup will be held at Glendale again this year on September 14th and 15th.  Ryder Cup qualifying is underway, and out team captain is Garrett Scott.  Simple qualifying rules are the top 3 members from the CAA, and the Club Championship will qualify, with Garrett reserving 4 captain picks.  The Red Deer Golf and Country Club is currently looking to avenge a home loss with a win at Glendale this year.  Please contact Garrett should you have any Ryder Cup questions.

The Red Deer Golf and Country Club is in terrific condition.  We hope to see you often in the next couple of months.
