August 21, 2020

The Junior Club Championships have just begun as I started writing this message, with the Club Championships beginning in a couple of days.  I always love the vibe around the Club on Club Championship weekend, and I sincerely hope all the participants play well and enjoy their weekend competing and socializing.  The Organizing Committee has worked hard to help present an event you will enjoy.

This weekend for the Club Championship we will be offering 30% off all drinks and appetizers in the dining room.  All beverages will also be $3 from the beverage cart during the horse race.  Thank you Todd Blundell for helping subsidize the cost to make this happen!

Power Cart Update

We have been informed that we can expect half our fleet of new power carts by the end of next week, with the balance arriving a week later. Our current carts are showing their age, and this update will be a welcome update for everyone.

2022 Canadian Senior Men’s Championship

Golf Canada has informed us that we will be hosting the Senior Men’s Championship in 2022, our centennial year. Due to the shuffling of events due to COVID-19, we weren’t sure if this would happen, so this news is very exciting. More details will be forthcoming, but we hope many of you will want to volunteer some time for this event.

Have a wonderful weekend.
