This Saturday we host the GS Communities Mixed Tournament (a 1 pm shotgun). This event is growing in popularity, and with the help of great sponsors like Glenn and Michelle Fraser, we are confident that it will get back to 100 or more participants in the near future. This year we will not hit that mark and have some space available in the shotgun that adult members can fill. Call the golf shop to reserve space for your 4-some.
The Red Deer Golf and Country Club has added some selections to our breakfast menu. The new menu will commence this weekend. With a cross-over start Saturday, and Commercial League Sunday we encourage you to start your mornings with breakfast at the Club.
This Sunday the Clubhouse will be closed from 4 pm on as we host the Red Deer Minor Hockey Association Gala. This is the 2nd Annual RDMHA Gala and Golf Tournament and we thank them for their support.
Going forward on Sundays in addition to our Prime Rib and dinner features we will offer each week Chef Poole’s Roast Chicken Supreme with white bechamel. That dish has quickly become a favourite with our members and we are pleased to add it to our Sunday menu.
Last week we hosted 18 guests from an office downtown in our board room from 11:45 – 1:15. The organizers pre-ordered individual lunches off our menu, and our servers delivered them by name as the guests arrived. A quick and easy way to host a staff luncheon for sure!!
The Red Deer Golf and Country Club will host an Open House at our new turf facility from 3 pm – 7 pm on Friday September 02. Burgers and refreshments will be served.
The new shop looks terrific, and is one that will serve our needs for many years to come. Please join us!
