A reminder that the upstairs in the Clubhouse will be closed all day tomorrow (Wednesday April 24th) until 5pm. We will have the BBQ going at the Snack Shack with a limited menu.
Ladies are reminded that the Spring Banquet Fashion Show and Trunk Sale is taking place Monday May 6th. Please call the admin office to register and choose your dinner option.
This Friday April 26th is the the seasons first full on pasta night. Pasta will be prepared and served from the front of the house. Pasta Nights usually sell out in the summer. Even though it is April reservations are recommended.
Thanks to all members for their patience as we work to get our final six greens into play. Our crew has been busy over-seeding, fertilizing and re-sodding. The forecast does not look great for heat and sunshine but will bring a source of needed moisture. We will open the greens as soon as possible without the risk of setting them back with traffic.
We have a meeting early next week with some Golf Canada people to look over the course and discuss the Canadian Women’s Amateur. This tournament will shine the international spotlight on Central Alberta and The Red Deer Golf and Country Club. A call for volunteers will be coming out in the near future. Billets, player services, scoring, transportation, greeters, range attendants etc. it will be a busy time.
We are thrilled to welcome a large number of new members and shareholders to The Red Deer Golf and Country Club. We hope to see all members as well as their families and friends taking advantage of this beautiful property.
