The Red Deer Golf and Country Club will be open and is accepting reservations for dinner this Sunday October 30, 2016.

Our menu this week is as follows:

Pan-Seared Atlantic Salmon, Herb Roasted Potatoes, and Seasonal Vegetables for $28

Roasted Chicken Supreme w/White Wine Bechamel, Herbed Roasted Baby Potatoes, and Seasonal Vegetables for $26

Grilled Pork Chops w/Apple Sauce, Herb Roasted Potatoes, and Seasonal Vegetables for $24

Prime Rib w/Red Wine Demi, Herb Roasted Baby Potatoes, Yorkshire Pudding, and Seasonal Vegetables for $30

Our Feature Dessert will be Chocolate Truffle Mousse Cake for $6

Please plan on joining us at the Red Deer Golf and Country Club and remember that reservations must be made prior to 4:00 pm Friday.

Congratulations to RDGCC Junior Members Chandler McDowell and Carter Graff.

Carter was recently named to Alberta Golfs 9 Member Junior Development Team. He will receive year long coaching, sports psychology, fitness and nutrition guidance, and periodic competitions among the group and in provincial and national competitions across Canada.

Chandler has been selected on both Team Alberta (9 members) and Team Canada’s Development Team (8 of the top ranked Juniors in Canada). Chandler will be busy all winter with coaching and international competitions.

The 8 member Golf Canada Development Team is comprised of 4 boys and 4 girls from across Canada that have been selected based on objective performance results.

Both Carter and Chandler being selected to Provincial and National Teams is a significant accomplishment that all RDGCC members can be proud of.

I am pleased to report that with the better day time temperatures Heath, Chris and our grounds crew are making good progress on prepping the golf course for the winter.
