We hope Red Deer Golf and Country Club members take advantage of our great looking forecast and visit us this weekend.

Our turf team has been busy planting flowers and hanging baskets throughout the property.  We took advantage of the recent rain and fertilized, and lowered the height of cut on the greens.  We will be in mid-season condition very soon!!

We apologize for a shortage of benches around the Clubhouse and on a couple of the tee boxes.  We hope to have that rectified very soon.

Our first 9 Wine and Dine of the season goes this Saturday from 3:30 – 5:30 pm.  Members can invite guests for a $45.00 guest fee which includes a $20.00 food and beverage credit upstairs following play.  Call the golf shop to book your tee time.

This season our Snack Shack will be open every day at least 15 minutes before the first tee time.  Have you tried our breakfast sandwiches down there yet?  Bacon, Sausage or Ham and served hot.

With the Snack Shack opening earlier the hours upstairs in the Clubhouse have been relaxed.  We will open the upstairs at 9 am Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 7 am Tuesday and 6:30 am Saturday and Sunday.

Our roster books are at the printers.  We expect them to be available at the office late next week.

This long weekend is a great time use our launch monitor to get custom fit, or to simply check spin rates, etc on your current equipment.  Head Professional Dean Manz and Assistant Kirk Evans will be available with the Trackman all three days.  Thanks again to Dave Leonard for providing our state of the art fitting software.

On days when there is ample room in the parking lot we are asking that members refrain from parking on the grass adjacent the maintenance gate by 10 tee.  With designated paved parking available there is no need to be on the grass.

Our Central Alberta Senior’s presented by Riverview Insurance Solutions is fast approaching. Thursday June 7 and we expect a full field.  Enter soon!
