A couple of weeks ago I was chatting with one of our new shareholder members on the driving range. Cornelis Claasen said how pleased he was to have chosen to join the RDGCC…but that he still needed to sharpen his game a little.
One day last week he shot a 71…and his round included 6 birdies and an eagle. The practise must have paid off!!!
This rainfall is certainly welcome and the Red Deer Golf and Country Club will benefit from a well-timed fairway aeration. There is a large amount of standing water throughout the golf course and power carts will not be allowed until we dry up a bit. Sorry for the inconvenience. If a cart is necessary for you to play please call the golf shop and to make sure carts are available.
