On Monday July 18 we host the Dentists in the Barry Fleming Memorial Tournament.

Tuesday July 19 is a Girl’s Night Out.  Adult RDGCC members and spouses/girlfriends of RDGCC members can play and invite friends at a $25.00 guest fee.  Tee times commence at 6 pm.

Next Thursday we welcome a Connect Logistics Mini-Tournament with a 10 am start.

There are two more discounted guest fee days in July.  Friday July 22 and Thursday July 28.  Please mark the dates and bring some friends to enjoy our great golf course.

Every second year Score Golf issues a list of their top 100 golf courses.  They will announce this year’s list in July.  We have sent Score Magazine photos and information, and have been visited this Spring by a couple of their rating committee.  Keep your fingers and toes crossed!

Most golf courses in Alberta are in excellent condition.  Remember that we have reciprocal arrangements with Carnmoney, Pinebrook, Cottonwood and Bearspaw in Calgary and the Petroleum Club, Windermere, Highlands and the Edmonton Golf and Country Club in Edmonton.  Tee times must be made by our Professional staff.  RDGCC members can pre-book and play at a discounted fee (usually $60.00).

Entries are now being taken for the Sun Life Central Alberta Amateur, the Cadillac Member Guest, the Central Alberta Ladies and the GS Communities Mixed Tournament.  Call the golf shop at 403-340-4461 for details, and support our terrific sponsors at every opportunity.

Legacy Lane is a centralized location where we recognize members and businesses that have donated cash or products to the Red Deer Golf and Country Club.  Since its inception 12 years ago over $500,000 has been recognized with donor plaques.  Red Deer Golf and Country Club members are passionate about this facility, and we have all benefited from those that support Legacy Lane.  This year we are suggesting that paving over cart paths on #1 and #18 would be a worthwhile project.  Please call me or stop in to the office if you would like more information on this or anything concerning Legacy Lane.
