Sorry for the length of this message but there are some upcoming events and a few Club rules for you we wanted to bring to your attention:
1. All caps and head wear must be worn forward-facing on the course, at the practice facilities and the the Clubhouse. Juniors must remove head wear upstairs in the Clubhouse.
2. We have added a music policy.
Driving Range – No music will be allowed on the driving range or putting green.
On Course – Members are allowed to play music on the course respectfully. Members are asked to turn down their music while approaching tee boxes, passing the Clubhouse from 9 green to 10 tee, and arriving at the Clubhouse on completion of their round.
Hours of Operation
Our Food and Beverage hours of operation and service delivery has changed. This year the Snack Shack will open 15 minutes before the first tee time. Coffee, breakfast sandwiches, granola, fruit, etc. all the usual selections.
Tuesday mornings we will open upstairs at 7 am to accommodate the Ladies and Senior Men and as usual 6:30 am on Saturday, Sunday, and holidays.
The driving range will close Monday evenings at 7 pm so that our staff can clean and pick it for mowing first thing Tuesday. Then Tuesday morning the range will close from 10 – 11 am so that we can maintain the tee box.
The Ladies Spring Banquet and Fashion Show is Monday May 7 at 6 pm. Cost is only $20.00 per member this year as the Ladies Club is paying the remaining $5.00 cost per person. Mother’s Day is Sunday May 13. We will have a brunch from 10 am – 1 pm with Adults $34 plus GST…Children 5-12 $15.00 plus GST…and children 4 and under FREE.
That evening Executive Chef Ryan Poole and his team have 5 dinner features built with mom in mind. Call the Clubhouse to reserve at 403-347-5441.
Monday May 28 is Indian Cuisine Night at the Red Deer Golf and Country Club. Chef Poole will team with Chef Neeraj Raturi of Indian Kitchen. We will offer 3 course plated meals…Indian flavour with a French flair at $50.00 per plate plus GST & Gratuity.
The Central Alberta Seniors presented by Riverview Insurance Solutions is filling fast. Red Deer Golf and Country Club members should sign up soon for this popular tournament which will be held Thursday June 07.
Tee times will commence at 8 am daily thru May 21…then on May 22 we will switch to normal hours.
