Since 1967 there have only been the two years we have opened for play in May. Seriously folks – think sunshine!
One advantage of our new online booking system is that on days with frost delays all members with tee times will be notified by email. Exact opening time is impossible to guess, and it will still be the member’s responsibility to have their group at the tee and ready to go when play resumes. Those booking times that morning or checking tee times online will also be able to see days with frost delays.
Please click the link below for the RDGCC Masters Pool. Pick two players from each division and email them back to email@example.com . The entry fee ($20) will be charged to your member account and winners will receive gift certificates in the golf shop.
The Opening Reception is Friday April 20 with doors open at 5:30 pm. Please plan on attending and enjoy an evening of fellowship and fun with Red Deer Golf and Country Club members.
Another date to make note of is Monday May 28. That day our Executive Chef Ryan Poole will team up with Chef Neeraj Ratori from India Feast Restaurant in an evening of Indian flavours with a French culinary flair. We plan on a 3 course plated menu. Prices and selections will be posted when available.
Red Deer Golf and Country Club members are able to book tee times and bring guests to several other private Alberta golf clubs at reduced rates. Tee times MUST be booked through our Professional staff. Red Deer members get a reduced reciprocal fee and their guests pay the host facilities member accompanied guest rate. A complete list of Clubs will be listed at www.rdgcc.ca and in the roster book, but Clubs so far include: Canyon Meadows, Bearspaw, Silver Springs, Carnmoney, Edmonton Country Club, Edmonton Petroleum Club, and Windermere.
