Our newest shareholder is Todd Blundell.  Todd joined the Red Deer Golf and Country Club as an Associate member several years ago, has enjoyed his membership and chose to make a long term commitment.  He has been very visible through the years sponsoring and participating in many Club events.  Welcome Todd…and thanks for your terrific support!

Once Mother Nature allows us to open members will notice that we have switched back to a red/white/and blue flag system to indicate pin locations.  Red front, white middle and blue back.  Our tee boxes will remain the same.

Executive Chef Ryan Poole has planned a menu that is sure to please for Easter Sunday.  Reservations are recommended…we hope to see you there.  Please call 403-347-5441 to reserve.  The menu is listed at the end of this message.

Our Opening Reception is next Friday April 21 from 5 – 9 pm.  All adult members and their spouses are welcome to attend.  Complimentary hors d’ouvres and refreshments will be served.  There will be short presentations from our Club President, Ladies President and managers regarding the year ahead.

The Ladies Spring Banquet will be held on Monday May 08.  As usual the girls are required to register by calling Pam at the office.  There will be a fashion show, and a rep on site from Titleist and Foot Joy showcasing their ladies apparel.

Senior men 55+ can still sign up for the Tuesday morning Walter Sandquist League by calling the golf shop at 403-340-4661.

We are pleased to inform that the Red Deer Golf and Country Club will continue with our reciprocal arrangements with several private and semi-private golf courses.  We feel this adds value to our memberships, and allows RDGCC members to book tee times, bring guests and play when out of town.

All reciprocal times must be made through either Ken, Jordan or myself and are subject to availability.  RDGCC members play at a reduced fee (usually $60.00) and can take guests at the hosting facilities member guest rate.  Clubs in Edmonton are Windermere, Highlands, Edmonton Country Club, Edmonton Petroleum Club and Glendale….The Grande Prairie Golf and Country Club….and Clubs in Calgary are Pinebrook, Bearspaw, Canyon Meadows, Carnmoney, and Cottonwood.  Members are not allowed to call the clubs and book their own times…it must be requested through Ken Frame or Jordan Krulicki.
